In 2013, I was living in a house with some very old friends, along with some very new friends. We were all in fairly similar points of our lives. Crossroads. Saturn Returns. Adulting. Whatever you want to call it, it was a transitional time for all of us, each of us experiencing some form of recovery from some major life upheaval. Our little West Philadelphia alcove of support and life improvement was dubbed "The Healing House".

I set up my little work station in the front room of our house and started to write songs. As soon as I would finish writing, I would immediately make a fairly "realized" demo of what I had created. This collection of demos are all songs that would end up on "The Wreckage" and "Invisible Voice". Even more songs were recorded that have yet to end up on an official release. Humorously, looking at this list of song titles, it will not go unnoticed that I appear to have been one particularly sad bastard around this time. I promise, the next record will be called "Mr. Bellenoit's Golly Glorious Good Time Slamboree"...
